HETHER for a bungalow, a colonial mansion or the better class suburban home, you can specify Redwood with the certainty that for every part of the exterior you can secure T P L Co. Redwood lumber and milled products to meet all requirements of design and construction.
Specifying Redwood, you insure both permanent beauty and economy. Redwood does not rot. During growth it is permeated with a natural, odorless preservative which protects it against all forms of rot and decay.
Properly seasoned Redwood does not shrink, warp, twist or swell. Its uniform cell structure provides surfaces that take and hold paint unusually well. Freedom from pitch makes Redwood slow burning — reduces the fire hazard whereever used.
The cost of Redwood compares favorably with that of other woods which cannot compare with Redwood in freedom from knots and other defects and in resistance to weathering or exposure to ground moisture.
